Amended and reenacted §§ 16.1-299.1, 19.2-310.2:1, 19.2-310.3, 19.2-310.3:1, and 19.2-310.4 of the Code of Virginia. Added the grand jury as an alternative to a magistrate for the probable cause determination, clarified destruction of samples where no other qualifying warrant or conviction exists, and changed the collection location from magistrate-designated to the law enforcement booking agency.
