First amendment to K.S.A. 21-2511. Extended the collection mandate to persons adjudicated as juvenile offenders for the qualifying offenses; covered persons ordered institutionalized and persons already confined in a state correctional facility or county jail or serving an authorized disposition under K.S.A. 21-4603, 22-3717, or 38-1663; and required the court to order collection of blood and saliva specimens within 10 days after sentencing or adjudication, as a condition of probation where the person is placed directly on probation.
