Third amendment to K.S.A. 21-2511, amending the specimen-collection provisions alongside amendments to K.S.A. 65-4113 and K.S.A. 1994 Supp. 65-4162 relating to unlawful acts involving controlled substances. Retained and refined the requirement that qualifying convicted persons and juvenile offenders submit specimens of blood and saliva to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, with reference to the FBI's Combined DNA Index System.
