Omnibus judicial-proceedings act. Among many provisions it addresses sexual assault evidence collection kits — requiring reporting of whether analysis yielded a DNA profile and whether it produced a match to a named perpetrator or to a profile in the database — sets timelines for analyzing evidence and uploading DNA profiles, provides an evidentiary rule so that a DNA record is not excluded on specified grounds, and defines the Combined DNA Index System and the National DNA Index System administered by the FBI. 101st General Assembly, Second Regular Session, 2022.
