Following the tragic 2022 murder of Kaylee Goncalves, her mother, Kristi Goncalves, and retired law enforcement officer Tracie Brocco united to transform personal tragedy into systemic change. Their partnership laid the groundwork for Murder Has a Name, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing justice through cutting-edge forensic science and investigative genetic genealogy.

Murder Has a Name actively empowers law enforcement and victims' families by removing the financial barriers to modern investigation. The foundation funds advanced DNA testing through top-tier private laboratories and provides dedicated victim advocacy. Driven by the conviction that an unsolved crime is never unsolvable, the organization works tirelessly to ensure resource limitations never stand in the way of accountability.
