WY: DNA Identification Record System Rules (Wyo. Admin. Code, AG, DCI, ch. 1)

Core Database Regulation

Wyoming Attorney General, Division of Criminal Investigation rules establishing the DNA Identification Record System under W.S. 7-19-401 through 7-19-406. Nine sections cover authority, responsibilities of agencies collecting DNA samples, definitions, collection, storage and transfer of DNA-COD samples, kit procedures, profiling of convicted offender database samples, DNA profiles and CODIS, access to profiles, and expungement. The collecting agency decides whether to take a blood-based or buccal sample, and the Division may request another sample if integrity is in doubt or the sample does not yield an acceptable profile.
