US: Final Rule – DNA-Sample Collection From Immigration Detainees

DOJ final rule amending 28 C.F.R. 28.12 to remove the discretionary authority that had allowed DHS to exempt categories of detained non-U.S. persons from DNA collection. DHS components including CBP and ICE must collect DNA from immigration detainees for entry into CODIS.
