Core Database Regulation

Core federal collection rule. Each federal agency that arrests or detains individuals, or supervises persons facing charges, must collect DNA from arrestees, persons facing charges, convicted persons and detained non-U.S. persons. The Bureau of Prisons collects from federal and military convicts in custody and from persons convicted of qualifying D.C. offenses.
