Juvenile justice omnibus. Its principal subjects are driver's license suspension for persons under 19 who convey or possess a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance on school property, adult trial for persons who commit a felony under 18 but are not apprehended until after 21, bindover procedure and jurisdiction, and juvenile dispositional orders. For the DNA registry it matters because it amends R.C. 109.573, 2151.315 and 2901.07 and re-enacts them in harmonized form after the overlapping 121st General Assembly amendments. Section 4 of the act separately re-amends R.C. 109.57 "as amended by Am. Sub. H.B. 180 of the 121st General Assembly," and the act's final section invokes R.C. 1.52(B) to declare the harmonized text the version in effect. The R.C. 109.573 text as carried here is the consolidated database, unidentified person database and disclosure framework; the R.C. 2901.07 text is the consolidated felony/prison-term and misdemeanor/imprisonment collection scheme with the jail and community-based correctional facility intake procedure. Use this act to establish the operative text of the DNA statutes at the close of the 121st General Assembly.
