Core Database Regulation

Attorney General / State Police rules administering the DNA Database and Databank Act of 1994 (N.J.S.A. 53:1-20.17 et seq.). Seven subchapters plus two appendices cover general provisions and offenders' obligation to submit samples; collecting DNA; testing and storage; upload to SDIS and NDIS and access to the databank and database; quality assurance; expungement and prohibition against disclosure; and post-conviction DNA testing under N.J.S.A. 2A:84A-32a et seq. Appendices A and B are the collection kit and specimen submission form instructions.
