MT: An Act Expanding DNA Collection to Adult Felony Offenses (HB 359, Ch. 565, L. 2001)

Sponsored by Rep. Paul Clark and titled 'Expand DNA database to all felonies.' Expanded the collection of DNA evidence from sexual and violent offenses to certain adult felony offenses, defined 'felony offense,' and amended MCA §§ 44-6-101, 44-6-102, 44-6-103, and 44-6-107. This is the amendment that produced the current all-felony scope reflected in § 44-6-102(2)(a). 57th Legislature.
