MA: Testing of quantity limited evidence within the sexual assault evidence collection kit (515 CMR 8.00)

State Police regulations implementing M.G.L. c. 41, s. 97B 1/2. Applies to all sexual assault evidence collection kits submitted to the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory, which must test them within 30 days of receipt from local law enforcement. Governs notification, testing and the tolling period for quantity-limited evidence, and defines 'exhaustive testing' as testing that consumes the entire sample.
