KBI rules on the Kansas DNA databank. Cover definitions; classification of DNA records and their availability to law enforcement, approved CODIS laboratories and county and district attorneys; expungement on the grounds specified in K.S.A. 21-2511; maintenance, preservation and secure storage, with sample access limited to DNA analysis for profiles in the databank; and collection, labeling, storage, handling and shipment as prescribed by the director.
