IN: An Act Amending Indiana’s Sex Offender Registry and DNA Data Base Provisions (SEA 12, 2006)

Omnibus criminal law and procedure act amending IC 5-2-6-1, IC 10-13-3-5, and the Indiana DNA data base chapter at IC 10-13-6, including IC 10-13-6-11; provides that the detention, arrest, or conviction of a person based on a data base match or data base information is not invalidated if a court determines that the DNA sample was obtained or placed in the Indiana DNA data base by mistake; companion measure to House Enrolled Act 1155 of the same session.
