Illinois State Police rules implementing 730 ILCS 5/5-4-3 under authority of 20 ILCS 2605/2605-15, setting procedures and responsibilities for collecting body fluid samples from offenders and others eligible by statute for databasing. Nine sections cover purpose, definitions, responsibilities, voluntary samples, collection procedures, privacy protection, expungement, non-participation, and maintenance of genetic marker groupings at NDIS by agreement with the FBI.
