Amended Idaho Code § 19-5506 to substantially expand the enumerated list of qualifying offenses subject to mandatory DNA sample and thumbprint collection — adding numerous sex and violent felonies to reach roughly 60 qualifying offenses — and applied the requirement to offenders in custody or under supervision after the effective date regardless of whether a sample was previously provided. Ch. 327 (SB 1197); effective July 1, 2005.
