UT: DNA Collection and Retention Amendments (HB 170, 2013)

Amended § 53-10-403(2)(c) to add a list of enumerated felonies (e.g., aggravated human trafficking, internet enticement of a minor, felony failure to register, sexual battery) to the offenses for which Utah collects DNA at booking. HB 170, 2013 General Session. (Booking collection already existed for enumerated violent felonies booked on or after January 1, 2011; this bill expanded that enumerated booking list.)
