CA: An Act Adding Full Palm Prints to Sex Offender Registration Specimen Requirements (ABX1 151, Ch. 42, 1994 1st Ex. Sess.)

Amends Penal Code section 290.2 to require that a person required to register as a sex offender provide, prior to discharge, parole, grant of probation, or release, a full set of palm prints in addition to the two blood specimens and saliva sample already required for DNA and other genetic typing analysis; enacted as an urgency measure in the 1994 First Extraordinary Session taking effect immediately.
