Expanded Tennessee DNA collection from a short list of sex offenses to ALL felonies by requiring the court to order a biological specimen for DNA analysis from any person convicted of any felony committed on or after July 1, 1998; specified collection by the health department for non-incarcerated persons and by the institution for those incarcerated, made providing the specimen a condition of probation or community corrections, and authorized collection from felons in custody who had not yet provided one.
