Added § 12-1.5-19 to the DNA Detection of Sexual and Violent Offenders chapter directing the state crime laboratory to audit offender DNA profiles in the databank to identify samples that should have been collected (including all samples required by § 12-1.5-7) but are missing; requires a preliminary report of estimated owed samples to the General Assembly by January 1, 2024, a final report by December 31, 2024, and an annual audit report thereafter. P.L. 2023, ch. 354 (H 5435 Sub. A); effective upon passage, June 26, 2023.
