MS: An Act Renaming the State Laboratory to the Mississippi Forensics Laboratory (SB 2159, Ch. 452, 2015)

Renamed the State Crime Laboratory the Mississippi Forensics Laboratory across roughly 20 code sections, updating the laboratory's designation in DNA-related statutes including § 45-33-37 (the state DNA identification system, CODIS participation, and sex offender registrant sample submission) and the post-conviction DNA testing provisions; substantively a nomenclature act, with the DNA database and testing provisions otherwise unchanged. Laws 2015, ch. 452. Effective July 1, 2015.
