Permanently eliminates the statute of limitations for several major sexual offenses. Recent enacted legislation.

Allows an individual convicted of a capital offense to file a motion for post-conviction forensic DNA testing (with restrictions); amends the DNA database statutes (§§36-18-24, 36-18-25, 36-18-32) to require DNA samples from persons arrested for any felony or sexual offense after Oct. 1, 2010; increases DNA database fees. (Finally passed May 15, 2009; effective on the Governor's approval.)
