Amended A.C.A. § 12-12-1006(a) to require a DNA sample from any person arrested for any felony offense, expanding arrestee DNA collection from the prior list of enumerated violent felonies (capital murder, first-degree murder, kidnapping, rape, and first- and second-degree sexual assault) to all felonies; amended § 12-12-1019 to establish procedures for removal and destruction of the record and sample after acquittal, dismissal, nolle prosequi, successful diversion, reversal, or where no charge is filed within one year of arrest.
