Expanded the OSBI DNA Offender Database (amending 22 O.S. § 991a, 57 O.S. § 584, and 74 O.S. §§ 150.27, 150.27a): permitted saliva as well as blood samples; added mandatory testing of any felon with a prior conviction for a listed offense and, on request, out-of-state or federal offenders in Oklahoma whose convictions require sex-offender registration or DNA profiling; required non-incarcerated defendants to submit within 30 days of sentencing and registrants within 30 days of registration; and deleted obsolete 1997 sampling deadlines. Laws 2002, c. 235. Emergency; effective on passage and approval.
