Expanded Nevada's DNA (genetic-marker) collection by amending NRS 176.0913 to require a biological specimen at sentencing from defendants convicted of any category A felony, any category B felony, or a category C felony involving the use or threatened use of force or violence, as well as crimes against a child, sexual offenses, elder or vulnerable-person abuse, repeat stalking, related attempts/conspiracies, and certain failure-to-register offenses (no duplicate sample if one is already on file). Ch. 447 (AB 55); effective July 1, 2003.
