Added a new section to SDCL ch. 23-5A requiring every person required to register as a sex offender (§§ 22-24B-1 to 22-24B-14), including those with out-of-state, federal, and qualifying juvenile adjudications, to provide a DNA sample; amended § 22-24B-8 to direct the registering agency to collect a sample at registration and submit it to the State Forensic Laboratory unless already collected.
