Expanded Kansas DNA collection by amending K.S.A. 21-2511 to require specimens from any person convicted as an adult or adjudicated a juvenile offender for any registration-requiring offense, any off-grid felony, any nondrug severity-level 1-6 felony, and enumerated sex and other offenses (including attempts, conspiracy, and solicitation); specimens are collected within 10 days after sentencing, on intake to a correctional facility, or before final discharge, for the KBI's CODIS-compatible database.
