Rapid DNA Legislation

Clarified RS 15:609(A)(1) to allow a DNA sample collected at arrest to be analyzed during/after booking or any time thereafter; added subsection J creating a mechanism to compel DNA collection after the fact via ex parte court order. Effective June 4, 2021.
