Expanded Idaho's DNA collection from an enumerated list of roughly 61 qualifying offenses to all persons (including juveniles tried as adults) convicted of or pleading guilty to any felony or attempted felony, striking the offense enumeration from § 19-5506; revised the legislative findings (§ 19-5501) and definitions (§ 19-5502) and amended § 19-5507 to conform collection procedures for jail and detention-facility intake, interstate-compact offenders, and parole violators returned to custody. Laws 2011, ch. 211. Effective July 1, 2013 (implementation funding effective July 1, 2012).
