Domestic-violence act that amended RCW 43.43.754(1)(a) to add fourth-degree assault where domestic violence was pleaded and proven (RCW 9A.36.041) as a standalone qualifying misdemeanor for which a DNA sample must be collected upon conviction; the same act elevated repeat DV fourth-degree assault to a class C felony.
