TN: An Act Adding Child Rape Offenses to DNA Collection Mandate (SB 1144, Acts 1995, ch. 131, 1995)

Amended T.C.A. §§ 38-6-113(b) and 40-35-321(b)-(c) to add rape of a child (§ 39-13-522, including attempts) to the sexual offenses for which a biological specimen for DNA analysis must be collected upon conviction or juvenile adjudication, and to the specimens the TBI cross-references and preserves. Acts 1995, ch. 131 (SB 1144); effective July 1, 1995.
